PEK离型纸是将PE粒子通过流延机涂覆在纸张表面。由于表面附着PE层，相对来说具有更好的防潮性。同时由于PE粒子的特性，PEK具有更高的撕裂度和柔韧性。
PEK is manufactured by coating silicone polymer on poly-coated side of base paper. The extruded PE-layer is primarily protecting the paper against moisture and is enhancing the dimensional stability of a liner.
